This international standard specifies the “General Requirements for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories” and is followed by accredited testing and calibration laboratories worldwide. ISO 17025 describes a complete Quality System to address all aspects of laboratory operation to ensure that procedures, practices, policies, and personnel follow a systematic methodology in their day-to-day operations.
The aim of the Quality System is to continuously improve the ability to consistently produce valid results, and the accreditation by IAS is a formal recognition of a demonstration of that competence.
RADCO participates in inter-laboratory proficiency and round-robin testing programs. RADCO also conducts internal audits, attends quality training programs, and has procedures for carrying out corrective action when deviations occur or complaints are received. Our policies and procedures ensure that the laboratory, and staff are continuously improving their knowledge and ability to meet the needs of our customers.
RADCO’s ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation is provided by International Accreditation Service (IAS).
This international standard specifies the “General Criteria for the Operation of Various Types of Bodies Performing Inspection”, and is followed by accredited inspection agencies that provide independent third-party inspection services. ISO 17020 accreditation requires both a management and technical component. It ensures the competence of staff, environmental factors, testing procedures, measurement and calibration by equipment, and reporting of tests and results.
RADCO’s ISO/IEC 17020 accreditation is provided by International Accreditation Service (IAS).
